Fiverr’s been around since February 2010 & is very rapidly becoming an invaluable outsourcing tool for many online marketers.
Now if you haven’t heard of Fiverr before, it’s basically a site where people will place ads for services that they’ll provide for $5…& you’ll be very surprised at some of the unusual services that get listed!
There are literally thousands of different services & service providers listing on Fiverr so it’s a really nifty way to get some excellent work done for a measly $5 – things like graphics, articles, link building & much more!
I’d heard Fiverr being talked about on forums for quite a while before I eventually took the plunge & started using it about 4 or 5 months ago, and now I wouldn’t be without it….

Over the last few years, I’ve done a bit of outsourcing overseas for various parts of my business. Most of the graphics you see on my sites have been designed by overseas graphic designers, some of the background website coding/programming and a lot of the content on my Adsense & affiliate sites has also been done by overseas workers.
Now I’m not just talking about going to a website that specifically offers that service – graphic design, coding, article writing etc. – and asking them to do the work for me, but actually employing individuals on various outsourcing sites across the net (like oDesk, eLance & VWorker) to do specific jobs for me.
It’s pretty much like hiring my own, temporary employees – I request a certain job to be done, people put in a bid for how much they’ll do the job for & I hire the person who I think can do the best job for the best price.
Up until now, I’ve only hired people to do work for my sites…but this week I’m going to launch a slightly different & hopefully profitable, business model.

Google Adsense is a great way to make a nice, passive, hands free income from the internet & it can be one of the best ways for to get your feet wet if you’re new to the world of internet marketing.
What is Google Adsense?
Google Adsense is Google’s website ad network publishing program. Website owners who want to promote their website more on Google, sign up for Google Adwords. They create ads, & then set how much they want to pay each time someone clicks on their ads. These Adwords ads can display on the main Google search page, or on any of the sites in Google’s content network.
Now the Google content network is where you can make money…very good money in fact.
When you sign up for Google Adsense, Google provides you with some website code that you place on your site. Using this code, Google is able to display the Adwords ads on your site as well. Each time someone clicks on an ad on your site, Google pays you a share of the money that the advertiser pays them for each click.
Why Should You Use Google Adsense on Your Site?
Once set up, Google Adsense provides a great, hands free source of income for you & it’s very easy to get started. All you need to get going is a website domain name, website hosting, WordPress & a few articles – this should only cost you about $15.
You don’t need to be able to sell anything or design flash looking websites (in fact many successful Adsense sites are actually quite ugly)…all you need to be able to do is write some good content (articles etc.) for your site & give it a bit of promotion in the search engines. As soon as someone just clicks on one of your ads, you get paid.
…& considering many advertisers are willing to pay up to $20 or $30 for each & every click for certain keywords, it can mount up quite quickly! [click to continue...]
Have you ever thought about giving up on the idea of running your own online business?
Well, please don’t…
…but each & every day, many people don’t just think about giving up…they do give up.
They fall by the wayside, & decide internet marketing must be just one big myth or it just isn’t for them and they go back to the daily grind of working in a job they’re not really happy with.
Now, if you don’t want to end up like them, there’s one, simple solution…do the exact opposite. Keep perservering, never give up & I can guarantee you’ll come out of it at the other end with your own, successful internet business.
My mentor, extremely successful UK internet marketer, Lee McIntyre, made a comment on a call the other day which highlighted this really well, he said:
I’ve never seen anybody try internet marketing & really stick at it and fail…I have seen a lot of people fail at internet marketing but those are the ones that don’t really try it properly…really commit to it & work a lot of hours figuring things out.
Now working a lot of hours just doesn’t appeal to a lot of people, which is why so many fail. Many just want to buy a course, push a button and watch the money flow.
This isn’t going to happen. Internet marketing can offer a great passive income once you have things set up, but it is hard work getting it to that stage…
…like anything in life, the rewards can be amazing, but you have to be prepared to work hard & never give up to get to those rewards in the first place!
So don’t give up…keep on going, keep persevering and you will get there in the end.

….have a great day!
Wow…just checked the date on the last post…6th June! I’ve just been sooo busy with other things that time’s got away from me.
I started the kids (& myself) on a new diet about 8 weeks ago which cuts out all additives, preservatives, flavours, colorings etc. plus a few other food chemicals, so I’m having to cook just about every bit of food we eat! No quick meals & just ducking down to the take away at the moment!
It seems to be working quite well though, my daughter’s asthma has improved markedly, my son’s a lot more settled & I have a LOT more energy. As for hubby…well I think it’s a guy thing, he’s not sticking to the diet, at least only pretending when the kids are around
.
If you’re interested in finding out more about it, there’s heaps of information on the diet and the effect food intolerances can have at www.fedup.com.au.
So between all the cooking, SES, plus working on the new eCommerce Profits Unlocked course I haven’t had too much time for anything else.
On that subject, last week was the official launch of the eCommerce Profits Unlocked online business training course. It’s a 6-week, 6 module course that takes you step-by-step through the process of launching your own ecommerce business selling physical products – from product reseach, building your site, getting traffic & much more.
I’ve already had some great reviews from people who’ve signed up for it, so head over there now and take a look for yourself – eCommerce Profits Unlocked.
Even though I haven’t posted the Australian wholesaler updates on the blog here for the last few months, the database has still been updated each week (apart from once or twice) with 4 or 5 new Australian wholesalers. There are now well over 1,000 Australian wholesalers in the database and there are new suppliers in most categories including:
Clothing Wholesalers
Toy Wholesalers
Craft Wholesalers
Giftware Wholesalers
Sporting Equipment Wholesalers
Car Parts Wholesalers
Homewares Wholesalers
Baby Supplies Wholesalers
& many more, so make sure you pop back into the site every week or 2 to check the updates!
Now some of you might remember that back at the end of last year, I launched a couple of sites built specifically for Adsense & affiliate income.
Well they’ve kind of been neglected a fair bit over the last 6 months…no new content added, no new SEO work or link building done.
The other day, I decided to login to my Adsense account & see how things were going. To my surprise, one of those completely neglected sites, had been earning up to $15 a day in Adsense income
!!!
That’s from a site that’s only got 5 pages of content, had a few links thrown at it more than 6 months ago, then not touched. Just imagine what it could do with a little more TLC – some more content added & a bit more SEO work…
…something I’ll definitely be doing over the next few weeks, plus I think I might build a few more of these.
Now $15 a day may not seem like a lot, but when you consider how little content the site has (so that figure should increase substantially once I add more pages) & the fact that it’s essential hands free, passive income that’s not too bad.
Build another 9 of them, each making $15 a day and you have 10 sites making a truly passive income of $150 a day! This gives you over a $1,000 a week for not that much work.
Yes, it’s a bit of work for a few weeks to get them started, but once things get rolling you don’t have to do too much with them.
It’s really incredible the many different ways you can use the internet to earn a legitimate full time income. Adsense is just one of many that are out there!
As always, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to write a comment below.

…And for a mere fraction of the cost a ‘professional’ web designer would charge.
In fact you can build your own site, with your own domain name & hosting for no more than $20…that’s less than you’d pay for a pub meal for 2 people!
Believe it or not, without any technical knowledge & just a little bit of guidance, it’s not that hard to build yourself a very respectable looking site in a couple of hours…whether you sell a physical product, a service, information products or just want your own site.
But can’t I just create a free website?
Yes, but it’s something I wouldn’t recommend for several reasons.
So here’s what you need to do…
For ease of use I really recommend you look at using WordPress as a platform for your website. Many years ago, WordPress started out as a blogging program, but over time it’s evolved into one of the most powerful CMS (Content Management Systems – a fancy way of saying it’s an easy way to organise & present the information on your site) on the net.
That, combined with the wide range of extra features (also known as plugins) that are constantly being developed for it, make it the number one choice for not only me, but thousands of other designers & internet marketers (including many big name gurus).
WordPress can be used as the base for:
And the best thing is, that the WordPress platform is available for free to use on your site!
Now before I go any further, I just thought I should make it clear that there’s actually 2 ‘Wordpress sites’ on the net. There’s WordPress.com where anyone can sign up for free and create their own WordPress site, but hosted on the WordPress.com servers and with the address http://mywebsitename.wordpress.com.
Then there’s WordPress.org, which is the one I want you to use. WordPress.org is exactly the same program as you’ll find on WordPress.com, but it’s where you can download the WordPress script to install on your own website servers, & use your own website name ie. http://www.mywebsitename.com
Still with me? Don’t worry, it might sound a little confusing at the moment but once you’ve had a play around with it for an hour or so, you’ll feel a lot more comfortable.
Step #1 – Register Your Own Domain Name
Try to register either a .com, or if your business is Australian, a .com.au domain name is worth looking at too. You can register a domain name for around $10 a year or about $20 for 2 years for a .com.au.
For a .com domain, I’d recommend NameCheap or ZipHosting for a .com.au domain.
Step #2 – Sign Up for Web Hosting
The company you register your domain through will most likely offer you a web hosting deal as well, so if you’ve signed up for that then you don’t need to worry about finding a host. However, if you shop around you can usually get a much better deal.
Good web hosting is available for $10 or less a month. Try to find a deal that includes Fantastico – Fantastico makes installing WordPress (& many other useful scripts) a breeze with pretty much a one-click installation. HostGator is one of the better web hosts available that also includes Fantastico.
Step #3 – Install WordPress
If you don’t have Fantastico, you can download the WordPress installation from WordPress.org & follow the installation instructions provided. If you do, just follow the steps to install through your site’s CPanel.
Step #4 – Login to Your WordPress Admin
Once you’ve logged in to your WordPress control panel/admin area, you’ll be able to add content, make changes to your site’s appearance, add plugins and much more.
Each WordPress installation comes with a standard WordPress theme which you can use if you want, or a quick search on Google for ‘free wordpress theme’ will give a you a selection of thousands of attractive, free themes you can use.
Step #5 – Sit Back, Have A Cuppa & Enjoy Your Site!
…play around with the different options, find more plugins to give your site more features, tell all your friends!
So take some action today & have your site online by tonight! Give it a try and you’ll probably surprise yourself by what you can achieve…
Remember…
Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen. (Michael Jordan)
Be one of those people that makes it happen now!
It was a bit hard to go into every tiny bit of detail you might need in one blog post so if you have any questions about the process at all or get stuck on any steps, feel free to comment and I’ll answer as many as I can.
This weeks updates and last weeks updates combined equal 16 new Australian wholesalers in the database.
I added 11 new wholesale suppliers last week to make up for the week before (which I missed…see here for why), and 5 new suppliers this week.
You’ll find:
6 New Suppliers of Wholesale Baby Products & Nursery Furniture.
2 New Craft & Textile Products Wholesalers.
Several New Suppliers of Pet Products.
2 Australian Wholesalers of Toys.
A Fishing Wholesaler, Surfwear Wholesaler & more!
Til next week…Rach
